Girl in the City is story of young girl who is 21 year old. Mithila Palkar is going to play lead character as Meera who belongs to Dehradhun and moved to Mumbai to fullfill her dreams. She wants to pursue Fashion designing course from Mumbai. Mithila Palkar is famous for her Marathi song , which got very famous on social media with her new idea cup-beat rendition . Mithila shred about her role in this show , she said that “Meera is somebody who is very feisty, a go-getter who doesn’t give up easily, and very ambitious. She belongs to the small town of Dehradun and so I was required to understand and portray the struggles of trying to settle in the hustle and bustle of Mumbai
